About Legoland
Legoland Malaysia is Malaysia's first international
theme park that has opened in Nusajaya, Johor, Malaysia on 15 September 2012
with over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. It is the first Legoland
theme park in Asia and sixth in the world upon its establishment. The
official opening of Legoland Malaysia was made by Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, Sultan
of Johor on 22 September 2012. It is the centrepiece of a 5,500,000 sq ft
(510,000 m2) integrated complex in the Nusa Cemerlang industrial park, within
the Iskandar Malaysia economic region, consisting of a lifestyle retail centre,
offices, hotels, service apartments and residential units.

The LEGOLAND brings together a LEGOLAND Park, Water
Park and Hotel in one LEGO® themed location. It is the ideal family holiday
destination with more than 70 hands-on rides, slides, shows and attractions
offering adventure, education and fun for action-packed day trips or short
break destination. The LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is specifically designed for
families with children aged 2-12. The LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is the first of
its kind in Asia and the largest in the world.
Activities In Legoland
- THE BEGINNING
The colourful entrance to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort is where the fun begins. The Big Shop offers the largest selection of LEGO toys in Asia, and there are plenty of cash tills to ensure a quick entry into the park.
- MINILAND
Consist of some of Asia's best known landmarks in detailed miniture which is made by more than 30 million LEGO bricks to recreate it. Stroll through famous scenes from Asian countries, includind the Petronas Twin Tower, the Merlion Statue and the Taj Mahal. The whole MINILAND is animated, and guests - big and small - can bring the models to life at the touch of button.
- IMAGINATION
Designed for LEGO fans of all ages, IMAGINATION is where creativity knows no bounds. This activity includes:
1) Build and Test
A fully air - conditioned creativity corner for kids to create their LEGO Models.
2) Observation Tower
The Tower is covered Observation Deck, which meanders upwards in a slow circular motion to allow guests to view the entire LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort and the surrounding areas.
- LEGO TECHNIC
In LEGO TECHNIC everything is action-packed. Discover the high speed rides for the brave and the exiting LEGO workshops for the young. This activities includes:
1) TECHNIC Twister
Spin the wheel to control how crazy your ride will be.
2) Project X
Racy, crazy and 18 meters high. Project X is a wild ride on a steep switchback track.
- LEGO KINGDOM
Transport yourself to the age of myth and legend in LEGO KINGDOMS. Cross the drawbridge into the royal castle, but get ready for the Dragon to give you a wild ride. This activities includes:
1) Dragon,s Apprentice
All the thrills of rollercoaster for the park's younger guests.
2) The Dragon
Ride a fire-breathing dragon through the Middles Ages, but get ready for the twists and turns along the way.
- LAND OF ADVENTURE
Journey into the forgotten worlds of Pharoahs and dinosaurs. But watch out! You never know what lies ahead. This activities includes:
1) Beetle Bounce
Give children the bounce of their lives, nearly 15 feet above the ground.
2)Dino Island
Join a thrilling journey to the peak of a forgotten volcano. Watch out for the LEGO® dinosaurs along the way, and prepare to get wet on the way down.
3) Pharaoh's Revenge
- LEGO CITY
LEGO CITY is where the children take the controls. Where else can a kid captain a boat or drive a car. This activities include:
1) LEGO City Airport
Lift off together in a LEGO aeroplane and control exactly how high you go.
2) Boating School
Would-be captains can take the wheel of their very own battery powered boat.
Pro and Cons
PRO :
- It's cheap about RM 113 at night if you book online, it's clean. It's also right next door to the JB sentral.
- M any shops and restaurant (KFC, Subway Burger King and etc) and some souvenir shops around there.
- The worker are very friendly.
- There's no parking. your best choice is to park at the shopping mall right next door. There's a flat rate RM6 if you park from 7 p.m to 6 a.m.
- The weather is rather to hot or always raining.
- Almost all the food are expensive which is from RM 22.
